2025 年 9 月 25 日下午,在第四届全球数字贸易博览会(以下简称 “数贸会”)期间,“全球工程设计优选品牌 TOP 50” 颁奖典礼在在杭州大会展中心8号馆ISSE国际智慧空间展区隆重举行。
作为中国唯一以数字贸易为主题的国家级国际性展会,数贸会由国家商务部、浙江省人民政府联合主办,本届展会吸引全球超 1700 家参展商齐聚,70 余家全球 500 强企业携前沿成果亮相,已成为链接全球数字贸易资源、推动国际经贸合作的核心枢纽。依托这一极具国际影响力的平台,本次评选 —— 由全球工程设计优选品牌实验室与数贸会国际智慧空间展组委会联合主办、FIRST DESIGN 全程策划的全球化年度盛会,不仅是工程设计领域的品牌盛典,更是全球产业力量对“数字赋能实体、设计服务人类”的集体共识。
On the afternoon of September 25, 2025, during the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Digital Trade Expo"), the Award Ceremony for the "TOP 50 Global Preferred Brands in Engineering Design" was grandly held at Hall 8, Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center, ISSE International Smart Space Exhibition Area. As China's sole national-level international exhibition themed around digital trade, the GDTE is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. This edition of the expo attracted over 1,700 exhibitors from around the world, with more than 70 Fortune Global 500 companies showcasing their cutting-edge achievements. It has become a core hub for connecting global digital trade resources and promoting international economic and trade cooperation.
Leveraging this highly influential international platform, this selection event—a global annual grand gathering jointly organized by the Global Engineering Design Preferred Brands Laboratory and the Organizing Committee of the GDTE International Smart Space Exhibition, and fully planned by FIRST DESIGN—is not only a brand celebration in the field of engineering design but also a collective consensus among global industrial forces on "empowering the real economy with digital technology and serving humanity through design."

The selection process centered on the proprietary MTBS evaluation system, focusing on four key dimensions: Market Leadership, Technological Innovation, Brand Activity, and Sustainable Contribution. Beyond technological advancement, the framework emphasizes how innovation aligns with the essence of "serving a better life for humanity" amid the parallel global strategies of digital economy and carbon neutrality.
The MTBS system precisely targets the development core of smart spaces—"data-driven and green-low-carbon"—evaluating both technological breakthroughs and their contributions to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From thousands of applicants, 50 leading brands were selected, establishing a new industry value ruleset based on Chinese standards with a global perspective, fundamentally重构 (reconstructing) the value measurement of engineering design brands.

At the award ceremony, Liu Shengping, Executive President of the China Lighting Industry Association; Cao Lin, Honorary President of the China Stage Art and Design Society; Mohammed Alla, Vice President of Dubai Trade Markets at DP World; Lu Wenhong, Rotating Vice Chair of KNX China; and Kong Jisong, CEO of FIRST DESIGN, presented awards to the brands. They also witnessed the unveiling of the "45 UNDER 45 International Outstanding Young Designers" list and issued certificates to the winners. The moment of certification transcended mere honor—it signaled a global consensus in engineering design: when "technological prowess" and "social responsibility" become the dual hallmarks of brands, the path to high-quality industry development becomes clearer.
The awardees span six major economies—China, Germany, France, Japan, Belgium, and Austria—covering key smart space sectors such as lighting and display technology, cultural tourism and stage art technology, smart cities, smart offices, power supply and distribution, software and information technology, control systems, and audiovisual solutions.
